NASIMCO, in collaboration with the Academy of Continuing Education (HIC – Orlando, FL) and The World Federation are pleased to announce the 9th Leadership Development Program that is being held on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 – Sunday, February 28th, 2016 in Orlando.
This leadership Development program will allow you to develop your core leadership capacity and empower you with the skills to be able to participate with and benefit the wider Muslim Society. It will help you realize your own leadership style and enhance your skill set to become more productive and efficient in the unique methodologies required to realize your goals.
With professional facilitators who will conduct the entire program (3-4 days), some of the core areas of the program are :
- Developing a community vision and the role of the self in the realization of that vision
- Enhancing self-awareness, personal development and emotional intelligence
- Nurturing leadership capacity and capability
- Improving the ability to understand other people, their environment and work effectively in challenging situations.
The educational principles underpinning the program use adult learning models and require participants to fully and actively engage in the process of learning.The program will enable participants to explore assumptions, beliefs and attitudes about themselves, the organizations in which they work, the environments in which they operate and the wider society in order to enable them to ‘do differently’ where necessary and possible in their everyday lives.
