Yes, NASIMCO (North American Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities Organization) is a registered charitable organization in both Canada and the United States. We are registered with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) (Registration No. 119069870RR0001) and with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the USA (EIN 20-1696247).

Yes, as a registered charity in both jurisdictions, NASIMCO issues tax receipts for eligible donations. You can access information regarding tax receipts directly by contacting our finance team for assistance with past contributions

We accept a variety of religious dues and charitable contributions to support our diverse projects. These include Khums (both Sehme Imam and Sehme Sadaat), Sadaqah, and general Welfare donations. We also run specific appeals for humanitarian relief and community development projects.
