It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Marhum Syed Ammar Abbas Zaidi, who passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2026, in Toronto, Canada and will be buried on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Salat al-Mayyit will be at the Jaffari Community Centre on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 2:20 pm after Jumma Salaat. Thereafter, we will proceed for burial at Al Hussain Foundation Cemetery (10992 Kennedy Road, Markham, ON L6C 1P1).

Marhum was the husband of Sr. Hina Kanwal.

Marhum was the son of Syed Ghazanfar Abbas and Nilofar Abbas of Oakville, Ontario.

Marhum was the father of Ayan, Anaya, and Aaliyaan.

Marhum was the brother of Dr. Syeda Sadaf Raza (Lahore), Syed Ali Abbas (Oakville, ON) and Syed Kumail Abbas (Kent, UK).
