Marhuma Zaibunnisa Amarshi

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sr. Zaibunnisa Amarshi who passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in Toronto, Canada.

Salaat al-Mayyit will be held at the Jaffari Community Centre today, Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm after Zohrain Jamaat Salaat followed by burial at Al Hussain Foundation (10092 Kennedy Road Markham, ON).

Marhuma was the wife of Late Vali Muhammad Amarshi.

Marhuma was the daughter of Late Nagji Devji and Late Aval bai Devji.

Marhuma was the mother of Murtaza & Femida Amarshi, Riaz & Rehana Amarshi, Hussain & Kristen Amarshi, Tahera & Iqbal Jessa, Aziza & Haider Meghjee.

Marhuma was the grandmother of Maleeha Meghjee, Waseem Meghjee, Sameeha Meghjee, Ali Yasir Jessa, Ailya Jessa, Azra Jessa, Mohammad Abbas Amarshi, Zain Ali Amarshi, Zahra Maryam Amarshi, Fatema Khan, Abbas Amarshi, Zayd Thomson-Amarshi, Samir Thomson-Amarshi, Nyla Thomson-Amarshi and 12 great grandchildren.
