Fort McMurray, a community in northern Alberta, Canada, was hit by a wildfire fueled by strong winds and swept through the community destroying more than 2,400 homes and buildings forcing the largest wildfire evacuation in the history of Alberta. This natural disaster led to more than 100,000 residents of the city and surrounding to leave their homes and their lives after an evacuation order was issued.
