Therefore, after having completed 30 days of Shawwal, the first day of the month of Dhul Qa’ad 1442 A.H. will be on Saturday June 12th, 2021 for the entire region of North America.
We ask Allah, the Most High, for success in performing good deeds and hasten the Return of Our Master, Imam al-Mahdi (ajjala Allahu ta’ala farajahu al-sharif).

The declaration for the 1st of the month is made by NASIMCO from sighting reports received from member Jamaats and with guidance from the resident Alim of Toronto Jamaat, Sayyid Muhammad Rizvi in conjunction with The Moon-Sighting Committee that was established during the 7th annual conference of The Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America
