Moonsighting Forecast: Muharram 1443

THE MONTH OF MUHARRAM 1443 AH

NASIMCO would like to share the forecast for six major jamaats in North America.

On the evening of 8 August 2021, the moon is unlikely to be seen over North America.

The expected 1st day of Mahe Muharram is on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021

The declaration for the 1st of the month is made by NASIMCO from sighting reports received from member Jamaats and with guidance from the resident Alim of Toronto Jamaat, Sayyid Muhammad Rizvi in conjunction with The Moon-Sighting Committee that was established during the 7th annual conference of The Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America
