It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Sakinabai Shaukat Virji, the wife of Marhum Shaukat Virji, in Peterborough, UK this morning Wednesday 15th April 2020. The funeral details have not yet been confirmed.
Marhuma was the beloved mother of Marhum Shakir Virji, Zeenat Batstone (UK) and Zara Emms (UK). She was also the eldest sister of Marhum Mohamedali Virji, Zainab Jaffer (Vancouver), Kurban Virji (Vancouver), Marhum Nasir Virji, Maher Rashid (Vancouver), and Roshan Aubin (Ottawa).

The Secretariat conveys its sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family.
We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant the Marhuma maghferat and place his soul amongst the blessed ones in the vicinity of Chaharada Masumeen (AS) and who continuously receives mercy and grace of Allah (SWT) – Ameen.
Please recite remember the Marhūma, and the family in your du’ās.
