It is with sadness, that we inform you of the demise of Marhum Gulam Abbas Ahmed Abdullah Sumar, who passed away in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 and was buried there today, Thursday, August 4th, 2022.
Marhum was the husband of Nargis Sumar and was the father of Sabera Sabur (Leicester, UK), Sajida Rashid (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania), and Abdul Sumar (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania). Marhum was the brother of Marhum Fidahussein Sumar, Marhum Haider Sumar, Marhuma Khatoon Hussain Hasham, Mohamed Hussein Sumar (Toronto/Dar es Salaam), Marhum Akber Sumar, Marhum Roshan Sumar (Dar es Salaam), Khairoon Shariff (Dar es Salaam), Marhum Murtaza Sumar and Mustafa Sumar.
