It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing away of Marhum Haji Irshad Hussain Yusufali Rashid of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on Monday, 26th October 2020.
Marhum was the husband of Fatma Rashid, father of Ali Rashid, Sukaina Barlas, father-in-law of Afzal Barlas, brother of Inayat Rashid (Bukoba, Tanzania), Farida Rashid, Ashraf Jaffer (London, UK), and Tahera Virji (Vancouver, Canada). Marhum was brother-in-law to Khadijabai Rashid (Tanzania), Sherali Jaffer (London, UK), Munir Virji (Vancouver, BC), Gulamabbas Najafi (Toronto), Sultan Najafi (Peterborough, UK), Shabbir Najafi (Uganda/Peterborough), Kanizbai Najafi (Toronto), Sabira Walji (Minnesota), and Sukaina Master (Peterborough).
Salaat al Mayyit will be at Kitchener Funeral Homes & Crematorium (3 Forwell Road, Kitchener) after Zohrain Salaat 1:06 pm. Thereafter, burial will be at Parkview Cemetery (335 University Avenue, Waterloo).
The Secretariat conveys its sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family.
May Almighty Allah (swt) rest the Marhum’s departed soul in eternal peace in Jannah and give the family the fortitude to bear this monumental loss – Ameen.
