It is with sadness that we inform you of the demise of Marhum Mohamed Akber Hasham (Nanji-Miyaani) who passed away in Dar-es-Salaam on Sunday, February 7, 2021, and will be buried there on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 1:30 pm (Dar-es-Salaam time).
Marhum was the husband of Shaida Hasham (Dar-es-Salaam), father of Sukaina Jafferali (London), Zahra Walji (Peterborough), Alijawad Hasham (New York). Marhum was the brother of Tahera A. Kanji, nephew of Gulamali Rhemtullah, cousin of Batul Bhayani, uncle of Zaminali Kanji and Sayeda Datoo (Toronto). Marhum was also the brother in law of Zafer Datoo (New Jersey), Fayaz Datoo and Jamil Datoo (Toronto).
