It is with sadness that we inform you of the demise of Marhum Murtaza Gulamhussein Sachoo Lalji who passed away on Saturday 9th November 2024 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will be buried there on Sunday, 10th November 2024 after Maghribain salaat.
Marhum was the husband of Sr. Mansura Lalji.
Marhum was the father of Br. Rizwan Lalji (Orlando), Br. Shabbir Lalji (Dar) and Sr. Tanveer e Fatema Bhanji (NY).
Marhum was the father-in-law of Br. Zulfikar Bhanji, Sr. Masuma Lalji and Sr. Sukaina Kermally Lalji.
Marhum was the grandfather of Sr. Aamena, Br.Haani Mohamed, Br.Fayaaz, Sr. Aliya Fatema, Sr. Muhaddithah, and Sr. Zaynab.
Marhum was the brother of Sr. Nargis Somji, Sr. Zehra Manji, Late Mohamed Lalji and Sr. Raziya Somji.
May Almighty Allah (swt) rest the Marhum’s departed soul in eternal peace in Jannah and give the family the fortitude to bear this monumental loss – Ameen.
Surah Al-Fateha is requested for Marhum Murtaza Gulamhussein Sachoo Lalji and all other Marhumeen.
