It is with sadness that we share the news of the demise of Marhūma Amina Bai Jaffer, who passed away today, Friday, October 22nd, 2021 in Mombasa and was buried this morning in Mombasa.
Marhūma was the wife of the late Hassan AM Jaffer, Daughter of the late Mohammad Jaffer Rashid Nathani (Malim Mia). She was the mother of Murtaza (Mombasa), Ebrahim (Yasmin) of New York, Haider (Tahera) of Toronto, Fatim Ladak (Maqbool) of New York, and Nasrin Tejani (Hasnain) of Dar. She was the grandmother of Iqbal, Ali Hussein, Khalil Abbas, Miqdad, Ali Reza, Reza, Faiyaz, Zahra, Ali, Minhal, Siraj, Irfan, Fatema, and Maysum. She was great grandmother to Muhammad-Jawaad, Husayn, Rahma, Qasim, Noora, Aamena, Kumail, Zaynab, and Maryam.
