It is with sadness we inform you of the sad demise of Marhuma Aminabai (Rushi Mami) Dharamshi Pardhan who passed away in Toronto on Saturday, June 25, 2022, and was buried there on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Marhuma was the daughter of Marhum Mohamed Kassam Somji. Marhuma was the wife of Marhum Mohamedhusein Dharamshi Pardhan (Rushi Mama). Marhuma was the mother of Marzia Rajwani (Dar-es-Salaam), Aliasgar (Ali) Pardhan (London, ON), Hamida Rashid (Vancouver), Fatma Nasser (Mombasa), Mehdi (Gulam) Dharamshi (Toronto) and Hasanain Dharamshi (Toronto). Marhuma was the mother-in-law of Marhum Husseinali Rajwani (Dar-es-Salaam), Naseem Pardhan(London, ON), Hassanali Rashid(Vancouver), Mustafa Nasser(Mombasa), Gulnaar Dharamshi(Toronto) and Kulsum Dharamshi (Toronto). Marhuma was the sister of Marhum Akberali M.K. Somji(Dubai), Marhuma Zainab Bai Jessa (Vancouver), Marhuma Layla bai M.K. Somji (Lamu), Marhum Abdulla Somji (Mombasa), Marhum Yusufali Somji(Mombasa), Marhum Amirali Somji (Mombasa), Marhum Mohammed Hussein Somji (Mombasa), Nargis Bai Merali (Toronto), Rubab Bai Hasham (Toronto), Marhuma Zehrabanu Nasser (Dubai) and Roshanaly Somji (Toronto).
Marhuma also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
