It is with sadness we inform you of the demise of Marhuma Banu Bandeally (of Shaan Studios of Dar-es-Salaam) who passed away in Toronto, Canada on Friday, January 28, 2022, and was buried there on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
Marhuma was the wife of Late Yusuf Ali Bandeally. and daughter of Late Ali Bhai Ebrahim & Late Jena Bai Ebrahim. She was the mother of Late Nazmul Hussain (Shany – Shaan Studios Dar), Mumtaz, Late Sabira, Nasreen and Mahmood (Moody). Marhuma was the grandmother of Shwaib (Shake), Late Ravi, Zuleikha (Zee) and Samiha. She was the sister of Late Sakina Bai, Late Fatma Bai, Late Shirin Bai and the stepsister of Hussain, Late Hassan, Late Mohamed and Azra.
