It is with sadness we inform you of the demise of Marhuma Mumtaz Khalfan who passed away on Sunday, November 28th, 2021 in New York and was buried there on Monday, November 29th, 2021.
Marhuma Mumtaz Khalfan was the wife of Marhum Mushtaq Khalfan and the daughter of Khatoon bai Hirji. Marhuma had five (5) sons: Sameer, Zaheer, Adam, Fayaz and Mohammed Khalfan. She was also the sister of Zinat Nasser, Tahera Hirji & Sukaina Shivraj. Marhuma was also the grandmother of nine (9) grandchildren: Ali, Mahdi, Abbas, Ali Ridha, Hussein, Zaynab, Asiya, Ahmad & Jannah-Fatema Khalfan.
