It is with sadness that we inform you of the demise of Marhuma Roshan Bai Mohamedali Jaffer Somji who passed away today Saturday, January 30, 2021, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and will be buried there tomorrow Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Marhuma was wife of Marhoom Husseinali Kermali Dhanji (originally from Kilwa), mother of Masuma Dhanji (Leicester and Minnesota), Mumtaz Fazel (Birmingham, UK), Mansura Dharsee (Dar es Salaam), Sukayna Dhanji (Dar es Salaam). Grandmother of Nishat Dewji (Luton, UK) Rabia Karmali (Montreal, Canada), Teizeem Dhanji (UAE) and Sana Dhanji (UK), Kanize e Fatema Kassam (Dar es salaam), Mohamed Dharsee (Nairobi), Ruweida & Mehdiya Manji (Dar es Salaam) Ali Fazel, Mohamed Qasim Fazel & Hussein Fazel (Birmingham, UK).
