It is with sadness that we inform you of the demise of Marhuma Rubab Hassanali, who passed away in New York on Tuesday, 22nd November 2022 and will be buried there on Wednesday, 23rd November 2022.
Marhuma was the daughter of the Late Kermali and Sherbanu Ismail of Zanzibar.
Marhuma was the wife of Late Hajji Gulam Raza Hassanali.
Marhuma was the mother of Dr. Riyaz Hassanali, Sr. Ryhana Manji, and Br. Musadiq Hassanali.
Marhuma was the mother in law of Br. Raza Manji and Sr. Shaheen Hassanali.
Marhuma was the grandmother of Sr. Aneesha Manji, Sr. Maliha Manji and Shahbaz Janmohamed, Br. Karim Hassanali, Br. Mikyle Hassanali, and Sr. Aleena Manji.
Marhuma was the great-grandmother of Ali Abbas Janmohamed
