It is with sadness we inform you of the sad demise of Marhuma Rubabbanu Gulamhussein Bandali Damji who passed away and was buried in Toronto on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Marhuma was the wife of Marhum Gulamhussein Bandali (G.B.) Damji of Mwanza, Tanzania and daughter of Marhum Kermalli Alibhai Rattansi and Marhuma Kulsumbai Jiwan Rajan Asaria. Marhuma was mother to Marzia, Zeenat, Nazmul, Rayhana, Mahmood, Yasmin, Marhuma Razia and Mubina, and mother-in-law to Marhum Rafic, Mustafa, Shagufta, Sailesh, Siddika and Gavin. Marhuma had 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Marhuma was the sister of Marhum Alarakhia Kermalli Alibhai, Marhum Yusuf Kermalli Alibhai and Marhum Mohamed Kermalli Alibhai and sister of Marhuma Fatmabai Panjwani and Marhuma Leilabai Lakha.
