With sadness, we share the news of the demise of Marhuma Shirinbanu (Sheilabai) Amirali Dewji who passed away in Vancouver, Canada on Monday, April 1, 2024, and will be buried there on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Burnaby.
Marhuma was the wife of Marhum Haji Amirali Nazerali Merali Dewji and the mother to Mohamed AN Dewji (Vancouver), Fatim H Merali (London) and Hasnain AN Dewji (Vancouver).
She was mother-in-law to Hasnain R. Merali (London), Fatema M Dewji (Vancouver) and Sophia Dewji (Vancouver).
Marhuma was the sister of Zainabai Merali (Mombasa), Masumali G Merali (Toronto), Kaniz Somji (London), and Farida Somji (Dubai). She had 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
