With sadness, we share the news of the demise of Marhuma Zehra Abdullah M. K. Somji, who passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in Toronto and was buried there the same day.
Marhuma was the wife of Abdullah Mohammed Kassam Somji.
Marhuma was the daughter of Marhum Kassamali Merali Dewji and Marhuma Sugrabai Merali Dewji.
Marhuma was the mother of Muslim A.Somji, Yasmin Waris Habib Walji, Zeenat Riyaz Railey, Nazira Zul Lalji and Husein A. Somji.
Marhuma was the sister of Late Gulamali Kassamali, Late Khairun Jaffer Merali, Late Roshan Merali, Late Hassanali Merali, Late Kulsum Chagpar, Fatma Taki Daya( Moshi) Ghulshan Khaku,( VCR) Husein K. Merali (UK) Mohamed K. Merali( VCR), Razia Dewji, Anver Merali, Abbas Merali( Toronto), Pyarali K. Merali & Khairun Jafferali Merali.
Marhuma was the grandmother of ZeeshaneFatema Muslim, Mohammed Hassan Muslim, Sakina Muslim, Mohammed Bashir Walji, Zainab Zahid, Mujtaba Walji, Fatema MH Rashid, MohammedHusein Railey, AmberFatema Lalji, Ali Lalji and Mahjabeen Jaffer.
