However, should NASIMCO receive funds, which for various reasons, are not eligible for the designated programs, donations will be allocated towards areas most needed to safeguard other vulnerable communities.
Your donations will fund an immediate emergency response and wider long-term rehabilitation.
The initial response will focus on distributing ready to eat meals, hygiene kits and health assistance supporting people in urgent need of humanitarian assistance who are currently sheltering in communal buildings such as schools, mosques and churches.
The Government of Canada has just announced a $2 million matching fund to help the people of Lebanon.
Every dollar donated by Canadian individuals to the Humanitarian Coalition and its members from August 4th – August 24, 2020 is being matched up to $2 million dollars.
