Fort McMurray Disaster Relief 2016

Fort McMurray, a community in northern Alberta, Canada, has been hit by a wildfire which has been fueled by strong winds and swept through the community destroying more than 2,400 homes and buildings forcing the largest wildfire evacuation in the history of Alberta. This natural disaster has lead to more than 100,000 residents of the city and surrounding to leave their homes and their lives after an evacuation order was issued.

NASIMCO has launched an emergency appeal to provide relief to those affected by the raging fire and will be working with Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Association of Edmonton who are involved in supporting the Fort McMurray community. You can help by donating today.
