38th Annual NASIMCO Conference

The theme for the 38th Annual NASIMCO Conference is Women in Islam and Islam in Action. This will be an opportunity to showcase the positive things that people are doing to help humanity and to also recognize the incredible contributions women are making.

The goal is to highlight exemplary role models and to encourage women to reach the greatest heights academically, professionally and in terms of their voluntary work.

Islam in Action is an extension of this goal. NASIMCO will provide the forum to people who have overcome challenges to create a positive change. Watch this space for more updates on our speakers and events.

Why Women and Why Islam?

Islam has granted women equality in status and defined their human rights and legal rights. Historically, Muslim women have been leaders in business, education, research, science and technology. The foundation of a progressive and successful society rests on the various roles played by women in their personal and professional lives. Today, we need to empower and educate women to enable them to do justice to these roles and live by the principles of Islam.
